Schüller’s 2019 Brochure arrived last month and with five new kitchen ranges and additions to colour choices in the existing ranges, we thought we’d create a ‘Top of the Pops’ style countdown to the new entries, non-movers and changes in the 2019 Brochure.
(I find it’s best if you sing the Top of the Pops music in your head as you read the blog!)
The time has come to look ahead to the trends that are transpiring in all the design magazines for your home and kitchen. Below are a handful of the style ideas that you can adopt to ensure your new kitchen emerges from one of the glossy pages, straight into your home.
We’re all secretly loving ‘Love Island’…but we actually love islands…of the kitchen variety and there’s a design out there which is so much more than ‘just your type on paper’!
In the past, island units were exclusively for the biggest kitchens in the biggest houses and were perhaps more of a statement that you owned a kitchen large enough to house an island rather than it actually being an integral part of the design. Now, an island unit is so much more…it’s the linchpin of many kitchen designs and creates a centre piece that’s functional, stylish and unites open plan living areas beautifully.
How it all Began…
It was November when we sent off our application to be considered for a Cardiff Life Award. We’d opened our Cardiff Showroom just over a year earlier and felt that we’d made good progress in moving both the business and sales forward as well as employing more staff along the way.
It goes without saying that making the most of the space in your home is crucial. Whether your house is big or small, it’s essential to make the rooms appear as spacious and un-cluttered as possible.
