Visiting the showroom
Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?
No. You are welcome to call in during opening hours and look round. If you want unhurried time with a designer, book a free design consultation so we can set the time aside for you.
Where is your showroom?
Unit 3, Radyr Court Shopping Precinct in Danescourt, Llandaff, Cardiff CF5 2SF, with free parking outside. You can see our German kitchen displays, BORA appliances, worktops and storage ideas.
What areas do you cover?
Mainly Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, Newport, Bridgend, Caerphilly and the rest of South Wales. We also take on some projects further along the M4 corridor, depending on their size.
Your design consultation
Do you charge for a design consultation?
No. Your design consultation and design presentation are free, with no obligation. It is a chance to share your ideas and see if we are the right fit.
What should I bring?
Room measurements or plans, photos of your current kitchen, pictures you like, a rough budget and any appliance or worktop ideas. If you are planning building work, bring those details too. Early ideas are fine.
Can I speak to someone before booking?
Yes. A short chat on the phone can tell you what suits your space, timescale and budget before you commit to a consultation.
Can you help with an extension or building work?
Yes, and the earlier the better. Getting us involved early avoids awkward layouts, badly placed services and costly changes later.
Can you work from architect’s drawings?
Yes. Drawings are a great starting point, and we check the final measurements on site before anything is ordered.
Can you help me choose between Nobilia and Schüller?
Yes. You do not need to pick a brand first. Once we know your space, budget and wish list we will recommend the range that suits you.
Can I make changes after my first consultation?
Of course. Changes to the layout, colours, appliances, worktops or storage are normal, as long as everything is signed off before your kitchen is made.
Prices and the process
How much does a German kitchen cost?
It depends on size, range, finish, appliances, worktops and fitting. Many complete Schüller kitchens with installation come to around £25,000, some less and some more. See our price guide or try the price estimator.
How long does the process take?
It varies. Every kitchen is planned, then made to order in Germany, delivered and fitted. If you are working around building work or other trades, talk to us early.
Do you fit the kitchens yourselves?
Yes, we offer a full installation service. We can also supply the kitchen only if you have your own builder or fitter.
Can I buy the kitchen and use my own fitter?
Yes. Your fitter needs to be confident fitting a German kitchen accurately, and we are happy to talk them through it.
Can you supply appliances and worktops too?
Yes: appliances, worktops, sinks, taps, extraction, lighting and internal storage. We are one of the leading BORA showrooms in the UK, so we can advise on venting hobs and professional ovens.
Do you offer finance?
Not at the moment. Finance costs are usually built into the price, so you may get a better deal through your bank, building society or mortgage provider.
