Who we are
German Kitchens Cardiff Ltd is an independent kitchen showroom in Cardiff. We design, supply and fit German kitchens, utility rooms and appliances, and we handle the whole job ourselves, from the first sketch to the final handover.

Nobilia and Schüller are two of Germany’s largest kitchen makers. All the cabinets we fit are made in their German factories and built to order for your room.
What a kitchen costs
Complete kitchens from us start at around £12,000, including design, supply and fitting. Based on our real Cardiff projects, most fall into one of four bands:
- Compact kitchens: £12,000 to £18,000
- Family kitchens: £18,000 to £30,000
- Premium projects: £30,000 to £50,000
- Large or open plan kitchens: £50,000 and up

What’s included
- Free design service, with one designer looking after you from start to finish
- Free, no-obligation quote
- Supply and fitting by our own fitting team, led by Danny
- Coordination of every trade the job needs: plastering, electrics, plumbing, tiling, flooring and small building works
- A proper handover once everything’s finished
Our Premium Design Service
If you’d like more from the design stage, our Premium Design Service costs £999 and includes:
- Unlimited design presentations
- Unlimited plans, elevations, perspectives and a detailed item list
- Remote design meetings over Zoom
- An upgraded customer portal
When you place your order, we credit double your fee, £1,998, towards your kitchen.
How long it takes
- From order to delivery: usually 6 to 8 weeks for Nobilia kitchens and 8 to 10 weeks for Schüller kitchens
- Storage: once your kitchen arrives, we store it free for one month. After that it’s £50 a week, unless we’ve agreed a longer storage period with you beforehand.
- Fitting itself: around 1 week with laminate worktops, or 2 to 3 weeks with stone worktops (quartz, granite or Dekton), depending on the worktop fabricator’s lead time
Guarantees and protection
- Cabinets: 5-year warranty from delivery on all Schüller and Nobilia furniture, and we cover the labour to fit any replacement parts
- Fitting: our workmanship is guaranteed for 2 years
- Appliances: covered by each manufacturer’s own warranty
- Peace of mind on snags: £250 of your final payment is held back as a retention, which you only pay once the job’s complete and you’ve signed it off
How payment works
- 20% deposit when you order
- 40% when your kitchen goes into manufacture
- 40% when your kitchen arrives at our storage facility, less a £250 retention
- The £250 retention is payable on completion and sign-off
Where we work
We fit kitchens across Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, Newport, Bridgend, Caerphilly and the wider South Wales area, plus Bristol and Portishead. Recent projects include homes in Penarth, Barry, Rhoose, Bridgend and Caerphilly.
