From Sale to Installation
This page outlines the process from sale to completion and what to expect with regards to payments, delivery, storage and installation of your new Schüller Kitchen.
Kitchen payments are payable in a maximum of 3 instalments:
Payment 1: 10% Sales Deposit Holds the price of the kitchen quote.
Payment 2: 50% Manufacturing Deposit Kitchen will be ordered with Schüller.
Payment 3: 40% Final Balance To be paid 4 weeks after full deposit.
The 10% ‘Sales Deposit’ secures the price, but your kitchen will not be ordered until the 50% ‘Manufacturing Deposit’ is also paid.
Once the full 60% deposit has been received, your kitchen will be ordered with the Schüller factory in Germany.
Within 10 days of the full deposit being paid, we will carry out a pre-fit survey at your property. We’ll then confirm your design with the factory, after which time alterations may still be possible but will be subject to additional charges.
The 40% ‘Final Balance’ is to be paid to us 4 weeks after the full deposit.
Payment amounts and timings will be detailed on the ‘Agreed Payment Terms’ page towards the back of the ‘Sales Contract.’
When the final balance is due, an invoice will be emailed to you which will include our details for you to make a bank transfer.
Your kitchen will be delivered to us 6-8 weeks after the order has been placed and you’ll be contacted by the team to arrange delivery to you. If you’re unable to take delivery of your kitchen after the agreed delivery date, we offer a storage facility chargeable at £50 per week.
Installation Details:
If you’re having your kitchen fitted by one of our approved installers, you will receive a separate ‘Fitting Contract’ in addition to your ‘Kitchen Sales Contract’.
The price shown on the ‘Fitting Contract’ is for the kitchen installation only and any additional building, electrical and/or heating alterations will be quoted for separately by the fitter after his initial survey. The cost for this work will be in addition to the price detailed in your ‘Fitting Contract.’
Full payment for installation is to be paid directly to the fitter once the installation is complete.
In the unlikely event that we’re waiting for extra/replacement items, you may retain up to 20% of the installation costs until all remedial work is carried out.
After all the work is complete, you will be required to read and sign a ‘Kitchen Installation Handover Sheet’ to acknowledge that everything has been completed to your satisfaction and activate your workmanship guarantee.
Shortly afterwards, you’ll receive an email encouraging you to leave us a review online.
